Carsten has more than 10 years of experience in various industries such as consulting, public sector, defence and automotive. He is absolutely convinced that recruiting must change dramatically if companies want to remain visible and relevant on the market. The traditional recruitment of personnel was too inflexible, too linear, too reactive. For him, recruiting has a lot to do with customer intimacy, market intelligence and the willingness to constantly adapt to new situations. For this reason, he began to work intensively on sourcing and marketing. Today, he heads the strategic talent acquisition for VALEO in Germany and supports his team in becoming real “business enablers”.
He still is a passionate sourcer himself, in order to keep up with the times and to feel the special thrill of the search for suitable candidates. Unfortunately, due to the complexity, structure and number of different job profiles, some sourcing ideas are not suitable for everyday use in the corporate environment.
